The Wisconsin Badgers beat the Ohio State Buckeyes to win the 2014 BTU Championship on Saturday, in Rockford, Illinois.

It was a low scoring affair in the first half with Wisconsin and Ohio State trading penalty kicks early before Wisconsin's Neil Warren would take advantage of a Buckeye turnover and score the games first try. This would give the Badgers an 8-3 lead heading into half-time after a failed penalty kick by the Buckeyes as time expired.

Early in the second half the Buckeyes would hit a penalty kick and cut the Wisconsin lead to 8-6. While it looked like the game was heading toward a low scoring finish, on Wisconsin's next possession Jack Gross would connect with Matako Noudehou for a 70 meter counter try, extending the Badger lead 15-6. The Buckeyes countered right back with a try of their own off of a nice run from Santino Cua. After the conversion the score would be 15-13 in favor of Wisconsin.

This would be as close as the Buckeyes would get however... Wisconsin would immediately respond with another try of their own after Tyler Crass would touch it down after a nice run and pass from Dan Pattay. After the conversion the Badgers lead the Buckeyes 22-13.

Wisconsin would then break the game wide open with a pair of trys from Jack Gross and Jacob Soundcard giving them an insurmountable lead of 34-13.

Ohio State showed their toughness late, and the big man from the Buckeyes, Santino Cua would find his way in to the try zone with just under four minutes to play. The Badger lead was now 34-20, but that's how it would stay.

The Badgers have won their second BTU Championship in three years and finished the season with a 6-1 record. Hunter Crass won Man of the Match Honors for the Badgers.
